With over 20 years of experience in civil and mechanical construction, William, the Principal of Ailm Underground is a results oriented estimating and cost engineering leader specializing in gas, energy, and underground utility infrastructure. He has led estimating efforts for major utility clients including SoCalGas, SDG&E, PG&E, Black Hills Energy, FP&L, and NiSource, supporting project budgets for large-scale multi-million capital programs.
His background spans estimating leadership, field supervision, and ownership of an underground utility contracting firm bringing a rare, end-to-end understanding of construction means, methods, and risk.
An AACE member and Class A licensed contractor in the State of California, he combines technical rigor with real-world constructibility, providing clients with clear cost insight and value engineering options.
